National Trails Day in South Side Park
This event is in collaboration with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. Celebrate National Trails Day by helping us maintain the trail corridor in South Side Park. Breakfast will be provide courtesy of Giant Eagle! South Side Slopes Summer Picnic
Everyone is welcome to our annual summer picnic. The association will be grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers. Please bring a side dish, dessert, or beverage. Hope to see you there! StepTrek 2014
In its 14th year, the Pittsburgh StepTrek will begin Saturday, Oct. 4 at 11AM at South Side Park (Josephine & 21st Streets) on the South Side. Dirty Dozen Viewing
Join the South Side Slopes Neighborhood Association to cheer on the Dirty Dozen riders bicycling up Eleanor Street on Saturday November 28. We will be cheering at 2410 Cobden Street from 3:30PM to 5:30PM with hot coffee. Bring a mug! If you’re not familiar the Dirty Dozen is a bicycle race up Pittsburgh’s 13 toughest hills. Earth Day
Help clear invasive species, maintain trails, and clean up litter in our wonderful neighborhood park. This volunteer event will be undertaken with the Student Conservation Association and will help us improve the quality of South Side Park for the summer and years to come.

Slopes Garden Plantings
Start your Memorial Day Weekend right, by joining your neighbors in greening the South Side Slopes! At 9am on this Saturday, May 28th, we will meet at the Josephine and Greeley Streets WPC/Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Garden to plant beautiful annuals. Snacks, water and gloves will be provided.
